Shipping policy

The following Delivery Policy is only valid for merchandise purchased via the Eat Sleep Cycle website "the Online Store". This policy has been developed to ensure the accurate and secure delivery of all purchases according to your delivery needs. Should you have any questions regarding deliveries, please contact us at deliveries@eatsleepcycle.co.za.

1. Delivery Options:
   o Standard Delivery, 3-5 working days R120
   o Express Delivery, 1-3 working days R150, subject to stock availability and limited to
   main centres
   
2. Free Shipping: Orders over R1000 qualify for free standard shipping to main centres only.
   This excludes large items such as complete bicycles, bike trainers, and certain
   oversized accessories.
3. Delivery Area: We can only deliver products to physical addresses within the borders of the Republic of South Africa according to these conditions. Deliveries outside these areas are be subject to quotation (Email: support@eatsleepcycle.co.za).
4. For International orders, please Email: support@eatsleepcycle.co.za for assistance so we can provide you with the best possible service at the lowest cost
5. Delivery Time frames:
   o Standard Deliveries will be made within 3-5 business days upon acceptance of
   your order.
   o Express Deliveries will be made within 1-3 business days, subject to stock
   availability.
   o For certain outlying areas, we use regional third-party couriers, which may take an additional 2 days.
6. Order Tracking: A unique order number will be communicated to you via email, which can be used to track the status of your order.
7. Courier Service: Your deliveries will be made through our designated courier company. Eat Sleep Cycle reserves the right to change courier services without prior notice.
8. Address Changes: Once you have indicated your address and received confirmation of your order, we regret that no changes to the specified address and/or delivery option will be accepted.
9. Remote Deliveries: We reserve the right to contact customers and arrange alternative delivery methods and timelines if your delivery address is remote, or to cancel the order if delivery is not feasible.
10. Authorised Recipients: Before you finalize your order, you have the option to indicate in the "Notes" field whether the order should only be delivered to you OR you can specify an alternative authorized person's name to receive it on your behalf.
11. Proof of Identity: You or the authorized person will be required to show proof of
    identification to the courier upon delivery.
12. Parcel Security: All parcels delivered will be secured with unique purchase sealing tape.
13. Delivery Confirmation: The person receiving the parcel will be asked by the courier to sign the waybill indicating that the parcel/carton has been received undamaged and in good condition.
14. Damaged Deliveries: In the unlikely event that the parcel/carton is damaged and/or the security seal is broken, the receiving person can either:
    o Check the parcel in front of the driver and indicate any breakages, damages, or missing items on the courier's waybill.
    o Send the parcel back, indicating the reasons on the waybill.
15. Bicycle Deliveries: Please note that if you have ordered a complete bicycle, it will be partially assembled and may require additional setup. We recommend having it professionally assembled by a qualified bicycle mechanic.
16. Delivery of Large Items: For large items such as bike trainers or multiple bicycles, our delivery team may contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time.
    16. Service Refusal: Eat Sleep Cycle reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, and terminate accounts at the company's discretion.
17. Delivery Rates: View our current delivery rates on our website before checkout.
    Eat Sleep Cycle strives to provide accurate and timely deliveries. However, quoted delivery times are a guide only, and factors beyond our control can occasionally result in delayed delivery. We appreciate your understanding in such situations.
